Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of months. I've been without internet due to the fact that I have had to help my sister move back to the states! Yea!

There are so many great things going on in the world of MM lately. With concerts in Taiwan, Mainland China, and Korea, along with the release of Resonant Blue, Morning Musume is revolutionizing J-pop as we know it. Here are some predictions I have as the next stop on the road to MM's rule of Asia (maybe even the world).
- MM will get a new member who is Korean. She will be able to speak no Japanese, but be able to talk to Gaki-san all she'd want.
- Morning Musume will continue from here on out with only 3 main singers per single in order to create a new image (please not!).
- Morning Musume will have subgroups like pettimoni and Tanpopo again.
- Haromoni@ will seize to be anything like the way it is now and go back to the ways of good old Hello Morning!
- Reina will become a famous soloist do to her anime and her sales will eclipse Koha's.
I know some of these are a little odd but I really do believe that at least number one may happen sometime within the next year or do, due to all the promoting that they are doing in Korea lately.
~Yours truely~
Kimberly
So, I finally got around to taking Paul's raking quiz and I was actually surprised how much my MM ranking had changed since last time, first of all. I found that I now enjoy Risa more than Ai, which in a way is a weird thing since Ai has been my favorite member since she joined. I figure this is for the better, *wink*.
Morning Musume
1. Risa Niigaki
I have just recently began to take notice of Risa in MM. She doesn't have a lot of major parts in songs, but she has a great voice. I really love her attitude towards everything, upbeat and extremely positive all the time. Her best characteristic, in my opinion. She is always smiling and stage and seems to enjoy herself 24/7.
2. Ai Takahashi
For those of you who know me, know I have always love Ai, every since she was in the audition process for MM. Also for those of you who remember the post in my old blog about her(located here for those of you who haven't), you'll know I will always have a special place for her.
3.Reina Tanaka
The "yankii" who just happens to have one of the best personalities in MM. She is very opinionated and always knows just what to do, it seems. She would make a great leader some day...
4.Eri Kamei
Very funny person who makes me laugh. Never has had a big part in MM ever but is very talented and overlooked by a lot of the fans. really a same, I believe.
5. Koharu Kusumi
I believe the first time I began to like this girl was this summer. Someone had posted the MM in Hawaii night event on Youtube and there was a clip of her doing the Spaghetti Dance. I was the funniest, most random thing I have ever seen. For there on, Koharu has continued to surprise me.
6.Lin-Lin& 7. Jun-Jun
This was actually more of a tie, so I decided to list them together. I have never really been a big fan of either of their voices, but I have to believe I like Jun-Jun's more than Lin-Lin's due to the fact that she has much better control. Both have great personalities & I think I am slowly being to warm up to them.
8.Aika Mitsui
Although she has a good voice, I really haven't been a fan of hers due to her lack of personality. I do feel though she might change as the years go on, though. I have enjoyed her more now that she is in Athena & Robikerottsu, she seems to be growing as a artist as the months go on as well. Who knows maybe this time next year, she will be in my top 3.
9. Sayumi Michishige
Notably one of the cutest members of MM. I have never really like her much due to the fact that I feel she is a little childish in some ways, though I feel I may get some haters on this comment. The reason why I feel this way is although she is the same age as I am, I can never really tell. She always is acting very innocent & has really changed much as a person since she first entered the group almost 6 years ago now. I really feel that if this where to change even a little She could be in my top 4 for sure.
(If anyone would lie to know my C-ute or Berryz rankings just say so in a comment and I'll make a post about it. ;) )
For those of you who don't know about me, I tend to listen never listen to the B-sides of any single I every buy.(the exception to that was The Peace! Single) Recently, I decided to do just that and I discovered something...I actually like quite a few of them! Which surprised me a bit.
The first one I like to note is 恋ing from MM's Go Girl! ~Koi no victory~ single. I really liked the fact that was slower paced that its A-side and seems to feature Eri a bit, which is a really nice bit in the song because she does really well with ballads such as this one. I felt it was a breath of fresh air on the single after the A-side, though it happens to be one of my favorite MM songs of all time.
The next one I decided to try was on °C-ute's
Tokaikko Junjou single,Shiritsu Kyougaku. It really wasn't sometime I enjoyed very much at all. I do like the fact that that Okai Chisato has a nice part in this song. I hope it means that she will get a bigger part in an A-side, (prays). although that might not happen...Altogether it wasn't a bad song it has a great beat but all together forgetable, even for a B-side.My third try at a B-side was Let's Live off V-u-den's
Koisuru Angel Heart single. I actually really quite enjoyed this one! It was a very upbeat, uplifting song that worked a lot off harmonies and counter melodies which were very good considering v-u-den's never been the best at those sort of things. I really did enjoy this song, I repeated it a few times in a row. :PMy last go at a B-side for tonight was Tsuugaku Ressha from Happy Summer Wedding Day. It is a moderate fast paced ballad, (which I'm being to believe almost all B-sides are.) This song really featured all the members at the time without featuring any one over another, which is a big turn on for me when it comes to songs. I also really enjoyed the instrumentation in this song, very creative use of instruments. I think that they really made this song as great as it is, without them I just don't think I would like it as well as I do. This is certainly in my top ten MM songs.
(Sorry, I havent written much lately! I promise I will as soon as I can!)
P-Perfume
With their blend of synthesizers and pure fun pop, Perfume quickly became a favorite of mine. I discovered them not too long after Folder 5. I must say, this is one amazing group. Amazing live performers as well.I'm glad they are finally getting recognition from people.
Q-SharanQ
R-Ryohei
a great Pop singer who speaks decent English, actually. I got into him due to a friend whose obsessed with him.Great vocalist, but even better dancer. One of the few people in J-pop who write their own songs.
S-Suzuki Ami
I came across while I was on youtube searching for song. She came across in the results due to the fact that she had a song by the same name and I clicked. She is really quite amazing and has some really great abilities. not to mention she's extremely funny.
U-Utada Hikaru
Ah, Hikki. She is just great. I first found out about her a couple of years ago, when I saw her Single Best in the import section of a store and decided to buy it. Best Purchase I've ever made without listening to it first. :P (which I tend to do alot.) She is really versatile and has a great songwriting ability. Wonderful voice as well. :P
V-V6
Learned about these guys through the 2005 Japan-Korea friendship concert. I must say that they really have a few good songs that I enjoy listening to alot. :P Called the Japanese N*sync. :P
W-Wink
Older group I found about about through W's cover of one of their songs. Really quite a great group that was very upbeat and made a few amazing hits.
the only J-rock group that I like. I'm not really a rock person myself but for some reason I like these guys. :P
Y-Yui Horie
founder of Aice5 and a great voice actress. I really got to know her through one of the few animes that I watch. She reminds me of a younger teen rather than a 31 year old like she is. She has a very cutesy voice that for some reason appeals to me...
Z-Zwei
I just thought I'd share a *little* list of 26 Japanese Artists that I like outside of H!P. :P Enjoy!
C-Crystal Kay
D-Dreams Come True
E-Every Little Thing
F-Folder 5
ahhh...my first real experience with Japanese techno, which I have to say I have grown to love. This group got me into j-pop/Techno in the first place. They are the first actually japanese artist that I listened to, and I must say I have no regrets at all. they had some great music.
G-Globe
What a great band with some really powerful lyrics! Take the above song for example, Departure. Great live performance from the duo. (Notice a theme, anyone?) I really got into this group when my friend accidently added a song one of their songs on my MP3 player, and I thank her for that mistake to this day. :P
H-HALCALI
A duo I recently got into due to reading a blog that had posted their It's Party Time! PV on it. It interested me so I decided to check it out and I loved it!
I-Imai Miki
Great soloist who has been around for 20+ years. She has one of the strongest voices I've heard from a singer in a while. Her songs are always really well-written and suit her well. She tends to do quite a few ballads but I love her regardless. ;)
J-Jun Shibata
K-Kreva
Another artist that I found looking through people's blogs that I see on IntlWota all the time. This is a really fun song that is very danceable, not to mention that the rapper is very good and makes it sound very smooth.
L-Leah Dizon
M-M-flo
Found about about these guys due to their duets with BoA and have since grown to love them. they are really quite innovative with their music and has a great ability to be able to blend with virtually any other artist which is shown through their m-flo loves songs.
N-Namie Amuro
To be continued...
Just like to show a performance from Kouhaku Uta Gassen 2007!
This chip has all the H!P groups(Berryz, C-ute, MM) preforming. MM does love machine, Berryz does Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi, C-ute does Tokaikko Junjou, and then all three groups does a song I'm not familiar with...Really great performances from all three groups, although the outfits, I'm not so sure about. ;( And poor Sayumi, whoever did her hair must have been really insane or a huge star wars fan. :(
As It will soon be New Year here in the US, I have decided to leave you all with a little treat! I was actually at this concert. It's Yossie's Graduation concert at the Saitma arena. Roman~My Dear Boy~ Has to be my favorite MM song for a lot of reasons. It shows a completely different style from the single before it( Ai Araba! It's all right). Also, it was the forthcoming for Takahashi Ai as a main singer in MM. Enjoy!
For the start of this new year coming soon, I have decided to make a few changes. First of all, I decided to move my blog here from Wordpress as Vox seems to have more options for me as a blogger. Also, I have really been neglecting the other blog and decided to start fresh, which may help at lot for me. I hope you enjoy what you see!
